| “...The layout (grid)
is very pleasing. The illustrations and text
have equal weight. Neither overpowers the
other. The design is understated and clean,
airy. It allows the content to come through.” |

Sandra Hudson, University of Georgia Press
Design and Production Manager |

| The Long River Review
is UConn's literary and arts journal. As art
and design editor, my responsibilities included
designing the journal; organizing the collection,
picking and judging of art submissions; and
securing funding for printing. The book is
8½" high by 5¼" wide, perfect
bound, with a two color cover, 132 one color
text pages (art and literature) and 4 full
color pages for art. The book was set in the
meta font family. Click here
to view a pdf of the journal (869kb). |
